Pastor- Jessica Rockhold Gaul
Jess came to the Alta United Methodist Church in 2011. She attended one of the smallest public schools in the state of Iowa. In 2006 she graduated from the University of Iowa with a B.A. in Religious Studies (particulary concerned with how religions interact with society). In 2009 she graduated from Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, D.C. That was also the year she married Tim Gaul and began full-time ministry. She was ordained June 3, 2012.
Jess believes she is called to serve God and God's people through small town church ministry by leading and nurturing disciples of Jesus Christ for the up-building of the kingdom of God.
