Sunday Studies
Disciple 2: Sunday Night Bible Study
Sundays, 6:30-8pm, through May 31
Disciple Bible Study is an exciting and dynamic approach to Bible Study created by the United Methodist Church. It is a foundation course for all persons interested in the study of Scripture and for people who want to be intentional about their faith walk. First United Methodist Church encourages all members to take part in the Disciple Bible Studies. Disciple classes last from 32-34 weeks.  Participants spend time each day reading and preparing for weekly two-hour meetings.  During class meetings, a facilitator guides members in discussion of the scripture passages read that week, with an emphasis on the implication of what this means for how we are to live as disciples of Jesus Christ in the 21st century.

Sunday School – (for all ages)
Our church offers a wide variety of Sunday morning classes to meet the diverse interests and needs of persons of all ages.  We have several adult groups meeting every Sunday morning.  We offer children’s Sunday School classes for children from preschool to 6th grade, as well as mid-high and high school classes.  All classes meet from 9:00-10:00am in the months of September to May. Nursey provisions can be arranged.

Bible Studies offered on a rotational basis -                                                 Invitation Bible Study Series
This series of short courses is part of the Disciple Bible Study program. Each 8-10 week study focuses on certain portions of the Bible, such as both the Old and New Testaments, Genesis, Romans, John, or the Psalms.
