Music Ministries Chancel Choir The chancel choir performs a varied repertoire of sacred, contemporary, and secular music selections. The choir rehearses Wednesday nights from 7:00-8:00 p.m. and performs throughout the calendar year. The choir is under the direction of Ruth Hofferman.   Bell Choir The bell choir currently consists of two octaves and performs a varied repertoire of sacred, contemporary, and secular music selections. Special Music Special music at the Alta United Methodist Church consists of vocal or instrumental performances by individuals, duets, trios, or quartets. We welcome and encourage individual and group performances and ask that you contact the church office (secretary@altaumc.org or 712-200-2304) to schedule a performance.
